And we're getting back to normal!

Wow, what a ride it has been folks! We are finally almost finished editing the remaining few weddings from 2010, and we'll be catching up on some long overdue blog posts next. Stay tuned to the blog for more updates, new posts, and hopefully our 2010 Best Of Slideshow! There's still a lot for us to do even though it's the slow season!

Quick Updates!

If you haven't been following our latest on our Facebook page I wanted to relay some information to all of our blog followers. Last Sunday, October 3rd, my grandfather passed away after a lengthy illness. During the last couple weeks I have been splitting my time between photographing weddings, seniors, and engagements and traveling down to Bellevue to be with my family. Last week we had to cancel several photo sessions, and I am working on getting them rescheduled. Obviously our editing turnaround has increased during this time period, but we are quickly working to get back on track. Your continued patience and understanding is greatly appreciated, and if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to e-mail us.

I will post blogs as soon as we're finished editing, however we will probably forgo assembling slideshows for the weddings until we are completely caught up. Again, your patience is appreciated, and I want to thank all of you who have sent us your condolences.

Angela and Jason - They Do! - 09.04.10

On September 4th we pretty much had our entire team out in the field to cover Angela and Jason's beautiful Nazareth Hall wedding. Nazareth is still one of my favorite places to work, besides being a beautiful building, the grounds provide many awesome backdrops to work with. This wedding was just gorgeous, and Angela couldn't have done a better job assembling a dream team of vendors. We had the good fortune of working with both Aaron Baginski from Showcase Video and Rob from Decorative Sound on this one, and when we get together, we know how to rock out a wedding. Angela and Jason chose to do a reveal prior to their wedding to allow us a great opportunity to capture as many photographs before the ceremony as possible, which I always highly recommend. The extra time allowed for us to get a ton of amazing images set against a gorgeous blue sky and white puffy clouds. Their ceremony was held down in the Grotto, and couldn't have turned out better. Afterwards, we finished up the evening in Cadet West, and grabbed some awesome night images of the bride and groom outside of Nazareth. I have so many favorites from this wedding, that it is hard for me to pick out just a few to post. Young Engagement - 08.27.10

Downtown Toledo never ceases to amaze me. I've been shooting around the downtown area for over 5 years now, and I am always finding awesome new areas to work with. When I headed downtown for Katie's engagement session I ended up taking a back way into the Erie Street Market when I drove by an amazing new spot. I just had to head over their and photograph their engagement session, so that's exactly what we did! Now I just need to convince some seniors to check this place out. Anyways, check out my favorites below!

Baby Addison - 08.23.10

It appears that I got ahead of myself with the blogging and missed a few sessions! So I want to play some more catchup. On August 23rd I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a gorgeous newborn for a former co-worker. I have to be honest, newborn photos are more of Nichole's thing, but I figured I could give it a shot. Other than my own kids, I've never really had an opportunity to work with little ones, but I think this session turned out beautifully. Nichole has decided to take our baby business a little more seriously as well, and has invested in some new portrait props and backdrops. If anyone is interested in setting up a newborn session, let me know! We're running some awesome specials to help build the portfolio!
