Nicole and Paul - 06.30.07

What a wedding! This was definitely a wedding full of firsts for us. This was the first massive bridal party that we have ever shot, it was our first time in Dundee Michigan, and it was the first time I had to call a back-up shooter to the wedding (I will delve deeper in a moment)

To start with we were extremely excited to shoot Nicole and Paul's wedding, their engagement session was such a blast I could not wait until their wedding day rolled around. Both Nicole and Paul are a lot of fun to be around, and their energy shines through in all of their photographs. This was however, the largest bridal party I have ever had to work with, including the bride and groom the entire party numbered 27 people. All I have to say is, thank the lord that we bought that ultra wide angle lens a few months ago. A bridal party that size is quite the sight to see, and it was a blast working with that many people. We were definitely having an awesome time at this wedding, but right before the reception we received a call from our baby sitter that our son was running a fever of 104 and they needed one of us to come home so they could take him to the ER. Thankfully we had Noelle on standby, and despite getting lost out in the countryside she managed to reach the reception just in time. So Nichole had to duck out early but Noelle and I got some awesome shots at the reception.
