Katie and Michael are Engaged! - Sandusky Engagement Photographer

On Sunday I made the drive out to Sandusky, OH for an awesome engagement session on the shores of Cedar Point. This was yet another opportunity to me to play around with our new off camera lighting so I jumped at the opportunity to use it. We got a ton of great images from this session and you can view the complete set HERE, and below are some of my favorites. I can't wait to shoot their wedding at the end of August!

Aryn and Steve - 06.20.09 - Sandusky Wedding Photographer

This Satuday, Merin and I traveled down to Sandusky, Ohio to photography Aryn and Steve's wedding. This was a very warm and emotional wedding for us to cover. One of the things that I truly enjoy about my job is the opportunity to meet amazing people, and Steve is definitely one of those individuals. To begin with Steve is a firefighter who has been battling Leukemia. Just before the wedding he learned that he had relapsed and now requires a bone marrow transplant. He was discharged from the hospital just so he could get married. Steve is a strong individual and a fighter in every sense. I also wanted to say that if you have ever considered donating bone marrow to save a life, the organization Be The Match www.marrow.org is always looking for donors, so be sure to check it out. Lindsay and Ryan - 05.17.09 - Sandusky Engagement Photographer

Well after logging more than 350 miles between Friday and Saturday I was on the road again! This time Ben and I headed into Sandusky for Lindsay and Ryan's engagement session. We are very excited to have a chance to work with them again this coming September.
