Kim and Todd

I have to be honest when I say that I had been looking forward to shooting this wedding since the day Kim and Todd booked us. Not only are they an amazing couple, but the venues they chose for their wedding complimented the entire day. This was our first wedding in Detroit, so we had an awesome time working in an environment we had never been in before. For the ceremony location they chose the Inn on Ferry Street (http://innonferrystreet.com/05/) which consists of beautifully restored and maintained victorian homes that have been converted into bed and breakfast's. Now as cool as the wedding location was I honestly could not wait to start shooting the reception which was held in the basement of the Detroit Historical Museum. Not only did we have the entire run of the museum for photographs but the basement houses a recreation of the old streets of Detroit...well you'll have to see the teaser pics below to see what I mean. I told Kim, "This is like taking a child into a candy store." Needless to say we got some one of a kind pictures from this one of a kind wedding. Be sure to check the SLIDESHOW and also preregister for their photos on pictage. I hope you love your photos guys, cause we had a blast taking them!
